Neighbouring country: Singapore

I've always wanted to go to Singapore to experience the X-mas atmosphere. I've long heard about how happening it is at Orchard road during the X-mas's eve, how clean the environment where you will get fine even if you 'sneeze' & pollute, how kiasu the people are and so on so forth.

Here come the day where Johnny told me that he was going to plan out a surprise trip for me. No matter how I asked or peeked, he refused to let me know. I know he just did not want to spoil the surprise. Well, I shall see what happened then ^^
So, the trip remained secretive until the day we departed. We departed here from Penang to KL at 3pm, then took the transit from KL to Singapore. The flight got delayed because there was a heavy downpour at Singapore. Herm... I felt sweat rolling down from my forehead. Gosh, I've waiting for so long, please, please don't spoil my X-mas's eve...
Luckily, the sky turned clear. Thank God!

Immediately after we reached Changi airport, we straight away rushed to our hotel as it was getting close to 8pm. We certainly did not want to lose the fun of counting down in Orchard.

The sea of crowd.. The roads were decorated with beautiful light bulbs and ribbon-like lambs.

There were many comic-style and tree-alike Christmas trees and cupcakes. Don't you think it looks like the world of fairy tales?

The excitement made us temporarily forgot that we still haven't taken our dinner yet, until we see these...

Never think twice, let's have some. We were hungry! Here is the picture of the "Old Chang Kee". I think this is quite famous in Singapore as we've seen a few of other franchisees in the next few days in different places.

Here I am in Singapore :)

Many people waiting at the road sides, holding the white snow spray, counting down to the moment.

I will never miss Sentosa now that I was given the chance to visit Singapore. Haih, just wish that I have more time there to cover all that I could.

More pictures...

Of course, we won't miss to visit the Underwater World and dance with the sharks and dugong.

The next day, we just wandering around the town area, just to check out what surprises we could discover along the way.
