The reclining Buddha at Burma lane

After having filled up our tummy happily, we continued to the adjacent lane to see the 'sleeping Buddha.'

Here is the entrance:

Here is the view of the sleeping Buddha:

Here is a row of upright Buddha at the side of the wat.

Towards the back, lies 12 statues of Buddha which is the horoscope of everyone.

The mee sotong of lorong Bangkok

We woke up this morning to a lazy Sunday and wondered where to go for brunch....
then Janice suggested, let's go mee sotong and so we go...

....to the infamous mee sotong at lorong Bangkok.

The mee is served hot.

Then I saw a new batch of mee just being cooked.

The uncle called up to us...hey! Come up for a closer look!

So we went up close to him...
He started by frying the eggs....

...then pouring the mee into the pan....

....after that, the mee is stirred together...

...and some sotong is added.

A closer look reveals the seduction of a steaming hot plate of mee waiting to be eaten. :)

The mee after it is being cooked!
